The Anatomy of Good and Evil

I like to write almost as much as I want to draw, so I publish books. My writing helps me delve deeper into the symbolism of my drawings and expand my thinking about critical issues. My drawings symbolize my ideas about the world, and my writing helps me define them more fully.
Drawing and writing help me reconcile the hypocrisies I see and experience and help me find peace in this ridiculous world. A world where the Christian values (of empathy and love) of my upbringing are irrelevant in today's society--with today's Christians blind to it. The hypocrisies that live out loud are deafening and would be demoralizing without my art. My new book, The Anatomy of Good and Evil, is about these hypocrisies and my need to deconstruct religion from my life, which was tattooed on my brain as a child. My art deconstructs religion and explores my closeness and salvation with nature. My drawings and writings about them document my journey forward in this unbelievable, upside-down world where evil is good and good is evil.
